Why we built this
Most Americans do not have an advance directive. The ones who do usually cannot find it when it matters. We built DirectiveVault so any adult can store a signed directive in their pocket and share it with the people they trust in seconds.
What we do
We do three things. First, we show you what your state requires — witness rules, notary rules, POLST programs, and the official state form. Second, we store your signed document in a private vault you can reach from any phone. Third, we let you share read-only access with your spouse, your adult children, or your caregiver.
What we are not
DirectiveVault is not a law firm. We do not give legal advice. We do not draft your directive for you. If you want help writing one, talk to a licensed attorney or visit your state health department. We store what you sign and help you share it.
Who we are
DirectiveVault is a product of Anvil Road LLC. Anvil Road builds apps and tools for everyday Americans. We started DirectiveVault after watching families scramble to find a directive at the ER when a loved one was in crisis. We thought there had to be a better way.
